HummiPilot™ Inspection Documentation and Professional Reporting

A defensible mold assessment depends on complete, consistent records. HummiPilot is the private system that Home Enviro, LLC developed to structure those records, from field observations and environmental readings to laboratory chain of custody, remediation protocols and post remediation verification.

Technical Records

How each part of an assessment is documented

Technical inspection documentation

  • Each inspection has its own folder tied to the customer and property, holding field notes, dictation, photographs and documents.
  • Inspection time on site is recorded on the server in Eastern Time.
  • Photographs keep their originals when an edited version is made.

Environmental findings

  • Findings are recorded area by area, with moisture readings, temperature and relative humidity readings, and visual observations.
  • Thermal images from the inspector's camera are attached as supporting photographs, not as a stand alone finding.
  • A consistency review compares dates, sample counts, readings and conclusions before a report is finalized.

Laboratory report organization

  • Chain of custody forms are created on the laboratory's official template, carrying the job's sample list from the estimate or invoice.
  • Laboratory reports received by email are collected into an inbox, and staff confirm the matching job before use.
  • Sample values are read from the laboratory report itself, and any mismatch with the record is shown for correction rather than rewritten automatically.

Assessment protocols

  • Reports can include area specific remediation protocols written by the assessor for the property owner's chosen contractor.
  • Home Enviro writes protocols and verifies results; it does not perform remediation.
  • AI assisted wording replaces nothing in a protocol until the assessor accepts it.

Post remediation verification

  • PRV reports record the assessment of each location and a determination of passed, failed, conditional or inconclusive.
  • Draft determinations stay marked as drafts until the licensed assessor approves them.
  • A reanalysis is saved as a new attempt that keeps the earlier findings for comparison.

Professional reporting

  • Reports follow Home Enviro's master report design, with protected standard pages.
  • Every report receives a unique report number that is never reused.
  • Editing a finalized report requires an administrator, a recorded reason, and preserves the earlier PDF.
Role of AI

Where AI helps, and where it does not

HummiPilot's AI assisted writing can draft report narratives from the assessor's notes, written photo descriptions and laboratory values. It does not examine photographs or laboratory PDFs, it does not make findings, and its drafts are flagged for review when numbers or names do not match the record. The licensed assessor reviews, edits and approves every section that reaches a customer.

Case studies in the Florida Mold Experts Inspection Library are written from real, completed inspections documented this way, with private details removed.

FAQ

Technical questions about HummiPilot

Does HummiPilot interpret laboratory results?

No. Laboratory values are read from the laboratory's own report so they are transcribed accurately, and the licensed assessor interprets them. AI assisted drafting works from the assessor's notes and those values, and every draft is reviewed before use.

Can HummiPilot issue a PRV clearance?

No. HummiPilot records the evidence and the determination. A clearance result is issued only after the licensed assessor approves it.

Are thermal images captured by HummiPilot?

No. Thermal images are taken with the inspector's thermal camera and added to the record as photographs that support the written findings.

Where is the full HummiPilot description?

Home Enviro publishes the complete description, capability status and FAQ on its official HummiPilot page.
